- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 3 Tbsp. powdered sugar
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 c. chopped nuts
- 1/2 c. coconut
- 1/2 c. quartered maraschino cherries
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2With hands or pastry blender, mix 1 cup flour, margarine and powdered sugar until smooth.

3Spread thin with fingers in 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.

4Bake about 25 minutes.

5Stir all remaining ingredients into beaten eggs.

6Spread over base. Bake 25 minutes more.

7Cool.

8Makes 20 (3 x 1-inch) bars.
