Cherry/Cran Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 (12 ounce) bag fresh cranberries
  • 1 (16 ounce) bag frozen cherries or 2 cups fresh cherries
  • 1 lb ground beef or 1 lb ground turkey
  • 4 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 -2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 sweet onions, fried

Directions

    You'll want to juice the cranberries and cherries.

    I made juice the night before and saved the fruit pulp for my burgers.

    If cranberries are not available, double the cherries.

    You may want to add more salt and pepper or omit.

    Mix all together in bowl.

    Make patties.

    I made 6 burgers.

    Fry in frying pan or grill.

    I used my table top grill.

    fried onions would be good with it.
