- 2 (9-inch) pie crusts
- 1 can tart water packed cherries, drained
- 1/2 pt. heavy whipping cream (not whipped)
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Place 1 (9-inch) crust in pie plate. Put cherries in pie shell.

3Combine remaining ingredients in bowl and mix well.

4Pour over cherries.

5Cut second pie crust into 1/2-inch strips.

6Weave top crust into lattice work.

7Bake 1 hour at 350°.
