- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 c. light cream
- 1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1/4 c. finely chopped candied cherries
- few drops cherry flavoring
- 1 lb. dipping chocolate or confectioners coating
Directions

1Butter the sides of a heavy, 2-quart saucepan.

2In pan, combine sugar, water, cream and corn syrup.

3Cook over medium-high heat to boiling, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon to dissolve sugar.

4This should take 5 to 6 minutes.

5Avoid splashing mixture on sides of pan.
