- 1 pkg. (9 oz.) white or yellow single layer cake mix
- 1/4 c. chopped nuts
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar, packed
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
Directions

1In a bowl combine dry cake mix, nuts, brown sugar and cinnamon.

2In an 8-inch glass baking dish, spoon cherry pie filling into bottom.

3Sprinkle cake mix mixture evenly over pie filling.

4Drizzle melted butter over top.

5Cook on High 12 to 14 minutes or until topping is no longer doughy.

6Rotate dish during cooking if cake does not appear to be rising evenly.

7Let stand 5 minutes.

8Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream on top.

9Great quick, easy dessert for that last minute.
