- 1 chicken (about 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 lb.) or get one already cut up
- 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp. dried rosemary
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. dried sage
Directions

1Preheat oven to 450°.

2Cut the chicken in half (or cut up chicken).

3Arrange chicken, skin side up, in a roasting pan. Combine butter, lemon juice, oregano, rosemary, sage, salt and black pepper in a small bowl and mix well.

4Brush the chicken with the butter mixture.

5Roast until juices run clear, about 20 minutes.

6Broil 6 inches from heat for 3 minutes.

7You can skin the chicken if you prefer.
