- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 cans cherry pie filling
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- whipped cream or ice cream

1Cut butter into cake mix.

2Reserve 1 cup mixture for topping. Pat remaining mixture into 13 x 9-inch pan, building up 1/2-inch edge.

3Spread pie filling over cake mixture to within 1/2-inch of pan edge.

4Blend nuts and remaining cake mixture, sprinkle over top.

5Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

6Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
