  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. saltines, crushed
  • 1/2 c. nuts
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • Cool Whip

Directions

    Beat eggs until frothy.

    Add cream of tartar and beat until stiff.

    Add sugar and fold in saltines and nuts.

    Put in greased 7-inch pan.

    Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until light brown; cool.

    Then put on cherry pie filling and refrigerate overnight.

    Serve with Cool Whip.
