  • 1 1/4 c. oatmeal
  • 1/2 c. oleo, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/4 c. packed brown sugar

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Grease 9 x 13-inch pan.

    In a large bowl, combine cake mix, 1 cup rolled oats and 6 tablespoons of oleo.

    Mix until crumbly.

    Reserve 1 cup crumbs for topping.

    To remaining crumbs add egg; mix well.

    Press this into prepared pan. Pour cherry pie filling over this crust, spreading to cover.
