- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
- 1/2 lb. vanilla wafers, crushed fine
- 2 eggs
- 1 (22 oz.) can cherry pie filling
- 1 c. cream, whipped
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beat thoroughly.

3Place 1/2 of crumbs in pan.

4Spread butter mixture over crumbs.

5Top with cherry filling.

6Cover with whipped cream and sprinkle remaining crumbs on top.

7Chill for several hours or overnight.

8Serves 12.
