  • 1 lb. margarine
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 6 eggs, separated
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon flavor
  • 3 c. flour (use 1 c. to mix with fruit)
  • 1 lb. candied cherries (add a little juice from maraschino cherries)
  • 1 qt. pecans

Directions

    Cream margarine and sugar; add lemon flavor, beaten egg yolks, flour, fruit and pecans.

    Last, fold in egg whites.

    Cook 2 hours at 225° in tube or loaf pans.
