  • 12 cup margarine
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 (16 ounce) can pie cherries
  • 34 cup sugar

    In 11x7 baking pan, melt margarine.

    Mix flour, 1 cup sugar, milk and baking powder.

    Pour over margarine.

    Do not stir.

    Pour pie cherries, with juice, over the flour mixture.

    Do not stir.

    Sprinkle with 3/4 cup sugar.

    Bake at 325* for 55 minutes.
