- 1/8 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 cups flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°F.

2In a large bowl, combine cherries with 1 1/2 cups of sugar and the almond extract; set aside.

3In another bowl, combine flour, 1 cup of sugar, baking powder, milk, and oil; mix well and pour into a greased 9x13-inch baking pan.

4Spoon cherry mixture over the batter.

5Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until it tests done.
