- 6 egg whites (at room temperature)
- 3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. broken saltines
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 pkg. Dream Whip
- 1 can cherry pie filling
Directions

1Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff.

2Gradually add sugar and vanilla and continue beating.

3Fold in broken saltines and chopped nuts.

4Spread in a greased 11 x 15-inch pan and bake 30 minutes at 325°.

5When cooled, spread on the Dream Whip, prepared according to directions.

6Top with cherry pie filling and chill at least 2 hours before serving.

7This will keep 5 days in refrigerator and still be firm.
