Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 lb. box brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 4 whole eggs
  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    In a saucepan heat butter and both sugars.

    Add remaining ingredients and mix.

    Pour into a greased (Pam) and floured 9x13x2 pyrex baking dish. Bake in 325° oven for 45 minutes or until done.

    Cool for 10 minutes.

    Dust top with powdered sugar and cut into squares.

    Serve warm plain or with vanilla ice-cream. Also good the next day or so.

    Serves 24.

    (Bake a little longer if too soft in the center.)
