- 2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. self-rising cornmeal
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 5 egg yolks
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 deep dish pie crust
Directions

1Mix sugar, flour and cornmeal thoroughly.

2Cream butter and gradually add sugar mixture.

3Add beaten eggs to which milk and vanilla have been added.

4Pour into unbaked pie shell and place on cookie sheet.

5Bake at 400° (preheated) for 15 minutes, then lower to 350° and continue baking until firm, 50 to 60 minutes.

6Cool thoroughly at room temperature.
