  • 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
  • 1/2 lb. bacon
  • soy sauce
  • brown sugar
  • toothpicks

Directions

    Soak water chestnuts in soy sauce.

    Use enough to cover.

    Soak at least 4 hours.

    Remove chestnuts, one at a time and roll in brown sugar.

    Wrap bacon around chestnut and place a toothpick through the chestnut.

    Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350° for about 20 minutes or until bacon is cooked.
