Chewy Squares

Directions

   Melt butter in heavy saucepan.

   Stir in brown sugar; cool slightly.

   Beat eggs in small bowl with whisk and add to butter mixture.

   Add vanilla.

   Stir in flour until thoroughly blended. Add pecans.

   Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.

   Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

   Cut before completely cool.

   Makes 24 to 30 pieces.
