- 6 to 8 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- flour
- 2 c. artichoke hearts, sliced
- 1/2 c. butter
- 3/4 c. white wine
- 2 c. heavy cream
- 3/4 c. chicken broth
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Dip each breast into lemon juice, then into flour.

2Saute in butter.

3Add artichokes and saute until chicken is nearly done. Add wine; simmer over medium heat until volume is reduced to half. Add cream, broth and seasonings.

4Stir well.

5Remove breasts and artichokes to heated platter.

6Simmer sauce again reducing to one half.

7Pour over chicken and artichokes.

8Serve with pasta or rice.

9Yields 4 to 6 servings.
