- 3 lb. cut-up fryer (or equal weight chicken pieces)
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 3 Tbsp. sherry or white wine
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 lb. mushrooms, cut in large pieces
- 12 to 15 oz. can artichoke hearts
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2/3 c. chicken bouillon
Directions

1Put salt, pepper and paprika on chicken pieces.

2Brown them in 4 tablespoons of butter and place in large casserole dish.

3Put other 2 tablespoons butter into frying pan and saute mushrooms for 5 minutes.

4Sprinkle flour over chicken and stir in bouillon and sherry in saucepan.

5Arrange artichokes around and between chicken.

6Pour mushroom/sherry sauce over it and cover.

7Bake at 375° for 40 minutes.
