Ingredients

  • 3 lb. frying chicken
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper

Directions

    Select and cut chicken as for frying.

    Mix remaining ingredients.

    Salt and pepper chicken. Dip each piece of chicken in sauce and place in aluminum foil.

    Pour remaining sauce over it and fold up tightly.

    Place in roaster. Cover and place in a 500° oven.

    Cook for 15 minutes. Turn oven down to 350° and cook an additional 1 hour and 15 minutes.
