Ingredients

  • 3 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 c. white rice
  • 2 chicken bouillon or granules
  • 1 pkg. Lipton dry onion soup
  • 1 diced green pepper
  • 1/2 c. sliced almonds
  • 1 small or large can mushrooms
  • 1 can mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 2 c. water

Directions

    Place dry, uncooked rice in a 9 x 13-inch pan, or larger if recipe is doubled.

    Break up bouillon cubes or granules over dry rice.

    Place dry onion soup, green pepper and mushrooms over dry rice.

    Cover with cold water.

    Place uncooked chicken breasts over top of all ingredients.

    Cover with soup concentrate in globs. Top with sliced almonds. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.
