- 1/3 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3 whole chicken breasts, split and skinned
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1/4 c. minced onions
- 2 c. tomato juice
- 2 Tbsp. Romano or Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. basil leaves
- 1/2 tsp. vinegar
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- 1/2 c. Romano or Parmesan cheese, grated
- hot spaghetti

Directions

1Combine first three ingredients.

2Dredge chicken, brown in oil and drain on paper towel.

3Pour off all but one tablespoon of pan drippings.

4Saute onions in reserved drippings until tender.

5Add next eight ingredients, stirring.

6Return chicken.

7Cover and simmer 45 minutes.

8At serving time, sprinkle chicken with the cheese.

9Serve over spaghetti and garnish with parsley.
