Ingredients

  • 2 (2 lb.) fryers
  • 1/2 c. olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 2 green peppers, chopped
  • 1 red pepper, minced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 2 Tbsp. dry white wine
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. allspice (optional)

Directions

    Cut chickens in serving pieces and brown in hot oil.

    Remove chicken from pan.

    Add onions, peppers and garlic.

    Cook until slightly browned. Return chicken to pan. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 1/2 hour or until chicken is tender. Serve with noodles. Serves 6.
