- 3 c. cooked, diced chicken
- 3 c. diced celery, sauteed in butter
- 3 c. cooked rice
- 1 1/2 cans cream of chicken soup (do not dilute)
- 2 c. mayonnaise (not salad dressing)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. instant minced onion
- 1 1/2 c. corn flakes, crushed
- 1 c. slivered almonds
- 3 Tbsp. margarine, melted
Directions

1Mix the first 6 ingredients gently, but well.

2Put in low, flat casserole.

3Toss corn flakes and nuts in margarine and put atop chicken mixture.

4Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or if made ahead and refrigerated, increase baking time to 1 hour.

5Serves 10 to 12.
