  • 1 c. buttermilk or yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • 2 to 2 1/2 lb. fryers, disjointed
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
  • 2 onions, chopped fine
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/2 Tbsp. ginger
  • 1 Tbsp. curry powder
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch

Directions

    Mix buttermilk and garlic powder in bowl.

    Add chicken and let marinate 2 hours or more.

    Baste and turn often, at room temperature.
