- 2 whole chicken breasts
- 4 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 to 3 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 2 to 3 medium carrots, coarsely chopped
- 1 (17 oz.) can cream-style corn
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce with peppers and onions
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Combine the first 3 ingredients in a Dutch oven; bring to a boil.

2Cover, reduce heat and simmer until chicken is tender. Remove chicken from broth, reserving 3 cups in Dutch oven.

3Remove meat from bones and cut in pieces; set aside.

4Add potatoes and carrots to broth; bring to a boil.

5Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

6Add chicken, corn, tomato sauce and pepper. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, or until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.
