  • 3-4 pound stewing chicken
  • 2 tbsp. salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. celery, minced
  • 1 med. onion, minced
  • 2 tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1 quart. corn (fresh, frzn or possibly canned)

    In large kettle cover chicken with water.

    Add in salt and pepper.

    Cook till soft.

    Remove bones and skin from chicken and cut meat into small pcs.

    Heat broth to boiling point and add in remaining ingredients.

    Cook about 15 min.

    Heat thoroughly.

    Garnish with hard boiled egg or possibly parsley.
