Chicken Corn Soup

  • wings, back, giblets and upper legs of a fryer
  • 3 potatoes
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 pt. corn
  • 3 ribs celery
  • few flakes crushed red pepper
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Cover chicken with water, salt and pepper and cook until done. Take chicken out of broth to cool.

    Chop potatoes, onion and celery.

    Add to the chicken broth along with the corn.

    Add crushed pepper flakes.

    Cook until done.

    Pick chicken off bones and add to soup.

    This can be used as is or thicken with rice, noodles or rivels.

    If you use any of these, cook again until done.
