- 3 lb. chicken
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 onions, sliced
- 1 Tbsp. curry powder
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 1 c. sherry wine
- boiled rice
Directions

1Cut chicken into pieces for frying.

2Melt butter in hot frying pan.

3Add chicken and cook 10 minutes.

4Add liver and gizzards and cook 10 minutes longer.

5Add onions, curry, salt, wine and enough boiling water to cover.

6Cook until chicken is tender.

7Remove chicken to platter.

8Thicken the liquid in which chicken was cooked and pour this sauce over chicken.

9Serve with a border of rice.
