- 1 (4 lb.) fowl, cut up
- 4 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. chopped apples
- 1/4 c. seedless raisins
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 Tbsp. curry powder
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. cream
Directions

1Simmer chicken 3 to 4 hours or until tender.

2Remove chicken and reduce stock to 3 cups.

3Cut chicken from bones in fairly large pieces; dredge in flour and lightly brown.

4Saute onions in butter.

5Add flour and pour in hot stock, stirring constantly. Add raisins, apples, chicken and seasonings.

6Simmer about 10 minutes and add cream.

7Serve on fluffy rice with curry accompaniments.
