  • 1 c. uncooked regular rice
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c. milk or water
  • 1 fryer, cut up or 1 pkg. chicken breasts
  • 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
  • grated cheese (optional)

Directions

    Grease 8 x 13-inch baking pan.

    Mix rice with can soups and milk or water.

    Heat and stir until well blended.

    Pour soup mixture into pan.

    Place chicken pieces over soup; sprinkle with the dry onion soup mix and cheese.

    Seal with a piece of foil over the top.

    Bake in 350° oven for about 1 1/2 hours.
