- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. shortening, cut into dry ingredients
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Boil chicken, remove skin and bones, cut into bite size pieces and return to chicken stock.

2Mix ingredients.

3Roll out dough and cut into strips.

4Bring stock to a boil and put strips of dough into the boiling stock.

5Cover pot and cook for 20 minutes or until dumplings appear done.
