  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. shortening, cut into dry ingredients
  • 1 c. milk

Directions

    Boil chicken, remove skin and bones, cut into bite size pieces and return to chicken stock.

    Mix ingredients.
  3. 3
    Roll out dough and cut into strips.
  4. 4
    Bring stock to a boil and put strips of dough into the boiling stock.
  5. 5
    Cover pot and cook for 20 minutes or until dumplings appear done.
