  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/3 c. chicken broth
  • 3/4 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 c. cubed cooked chicken
  • 1/3 c. minced onion
  • 1 c. cooked peas
  • 1 c. cooked sm. carrots

    In large skillet, heat butter.

    Blend in flour, salt and pepper.

    Add in chicken broth and lowfat milk.

    Cook stirring till thickened.

    Add in cooked chicken, onion, peas and carrots.

    Simmer till bubbly.

    Serve over rice or possibly toast.
