- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup flour, all-purpose
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 2 1/2 cups chicken
- 1 each eggs beaten
- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 1/2 pound lasagna noodles cooked
- 1 package spinach
- 1/4 pound mozzarella cheese sliced
- 1/4 cup parmesan, parmigiano-reggiano cheese, grated grated
Directions

1Melt butter in a large; blend in flour, salt and basil.

2Stir in chicken broth; cook, stirring constantly.

3Remove from heat; add chicken.

4Mix beaten egg into cottage cheese.

5Lightly grease a 13x9x2-inch baking dish.

6Place a third of the chicken mixture in the bottom of the dish; top spinach and half the mozzarella cheese.

7Repeat the layering.

8Top with Parmesan cheese.

9Bake in preheated 375F (190C).

10oven 45 minutes.

11Remove from oven; let stand 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
