Chicken-Mac Saute

Ingredients

  • 2 c. raw elbow macaroni
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 c. Wesson oil
  • 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
  • 2 1/2 c. water or part chicken broth
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 c. diced, cooked chicken

Directions

    Saute macaroni, onion, pepper and garlic in hot Wesson oil until macaroni turns slightly yellow.

    Add remaining ingredients except chicken and bring to boil.

    Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.

    Add chicken.

    Heat.
