  • 2 cans diced, cooked chicken
  • 1 (7 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/2 green pepper, diced
  • 1 (2 oz.) jar pimiento
  • 4 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 can sliced water chestnuts
  • 1 small minced onion

Directions

    Combine all ingredients in large bowl and refrigerate overnight.

    Turn into shallow glass casserole dish, 13 x 8 1/2-inches.

    Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours or use two smaller casserole dishes.
