- 1 chicken fryer, cut up
- 2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 tsp. lime or lemon juice
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 c. wild rice
- 1/2 c. white rice
- 1/2 pt. sour cream
- 1 bouillon cube
- 1/4 c. chives, chopped
- pinch of oregano
- 1/4 c. dry California white wine
Directions

1Cut up frying chicken.

2Marinate in a mixture of 2 cups milk (or enough to almost cover chicken pieces) and 1 teaspoon salt for about 2 hours.

3Drain, but save 1/2 cup of the marinade.

4Brown chicken lightly in 1/4 cup butter.

5Squeeze lime or lemon juice lightly over top.

6Add salt and pepper to taste.
