- 2 whole Chicken Breast Halves, Boneless And Skinless
- 1 Tablespoon Dried Oregano
- 1 Tablespoon Dried Basil
- 1 Tablespoon Dried Thyme
- 2 teaspoons Kosher Salt
- 1 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
- 1/2 cups Breadcrumbs
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 cups Tomato Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Grated Parmesan
- 4 ounces, weight Fresh Mozzarella, Thinly Sliced
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 500 degrees F.

2Combine the herbs, salt, pepper and bread crumbs in a shallow dish to blend.

3Cover chicken breasts with mixture and shake off any excess.

4Heat olive oil in large oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat.

5Add the chicken and cook just until brown, about 3 minutes per side.

6Remove the skillet from the heat.

7Spoon the tomato sauce over and around the chicken.

8Sprinkle parmesan over each chicken breast.

9Cover each chicken breast with mozzarella slices.

10Bake, covered with foil, for 10 minutes and then uncovered for 5 minutes, until the cheese melts and the chicken is cooked through.
