Chicken Philly Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 4 -5 chicken breasts, cooked and sliced into 1-inch strips
  • 1 green pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 14 cup olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder (could use 2 cloves crushed) or 2 teaspoons minced garlic (could use 2 cloves crushed)
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 8 -10 slices provolone cheese
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    In a large skillet with cover add oil, garlic and onion powder, begin to heat pan on Medium Heat.

    Once oil is hot add chicken and mix well to cover chicken with oil.

    Heat chicken through and stir until it starts to brown on all sides.

    Add sliced Green Pepper and Onion turn heat to Med Low and cover.

    Continue to stir every few minutes until veggies have heated through.

    Place slices of Provolone around the pan, remove from heat, cover and let the cheese melt.

    Serve on buns or hoagies and enjoy!
