- 2 to 3 lb. chicken
- 2 1/2 c. water
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 stick margarine, melted
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 c. plain flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Stew chicken in water; reserve 2 cups broth.

2Remove chicken from bones; cut into small pieces.

3Place 2 cups of broth with soup in a saucepan; bring to a boil.

4Pour over chicken.

5In another bowl, mix melted margarine, flour, baking powder, salt, pepper and buttermilk; mix well to form a soft dough.

6Spoon over chicken mixture.

7Bake at 425° for 30 to 40 minutes.
