- 2 1/2 c. hot broth
- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. buttermilk
- black pepper
Directions

1Cook chicken; remove from bones and place in baking dish. Pour 2 1/2 to 3 cups broth over chicken.

2Melt butter.

3Add the flour, buttermilk and black pepper.

4Mix and spoon over chicken (this makes the crust).

5Bake at 425° for approximately 25 minutes, or until brown.
