  • 8 oz. sausage
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 1 large pkg. (20 oz.) frozen peas and carrots, thawed
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 3/4 c. chicken broth
  • 2 c. cubed cooked chicken
  • 1 recipe Savory Pastry

Directions

    Brown sausage and drain.

    Make cream sauce and cook 1 minute. Add chicken, sausage, peas and carrots and heat thoroughly.

    Place in an 11 x 7-inch casserole and top with Savory Pastry.

    Bake at 425° for about 30 minutes.
