  • 2 1/2 lb. chicken
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 1 c. flour
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. creamy celery soup
  • 1 3/4 c. chicken broth

Directions

    Cook chicken with chicken bouillon cubes, pepper and bay leaf. Dice cooked meat.

    Place diced chicken in a 13 x 5-inch Pyrex dish. Pour over chicken the melted margarine.

    Blend flour, baking powder, salt and milk.

    Spread mixture over chicken.

    Heat the soup and chicken broth to boiling.

    Pour over flour mixture.

    Bake at 425° until lightly brown.
