Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 c. Pepperidge Farm herb stuffing
  • 1 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. margarine, melted
  • 1 (10 oz.) can cream of celery soup
  • 1 1/2 c. boned chicken, packed
  • 1 c. cooked peas (canned peas must be rinsed)
  • 1 tsp. minced onion
  • dash of pepper

Directions

    Mix stuffing, bread crumbs and margarine thoroughly; reserve 3/4 cup of topping.

    Pack bread mixture in bottom of 2-quart casserole.

    Mix remaining ingredients and pour on top of bread mixture.

    Add reserved crumbs on top.

    Bake in hot oven (425°) until hot and bubbly with crumbs browned.

    Set 10 minutes before cutting into 6 squares.
