Chicken Pizza Puffs

  • 1 sheet of pepperidge farm puff pastry
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella and pecorino shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 pinch dried basil
  • 1 pinch dried oregano
  • 1 dash garlic powder
  • 1 egg (mix egg and water for egg wash)
  • 1/2 cup cooked shredded chicken breast

    Preheat oven to 400

    Roll out puff pastry sheet , cut sheet to the size of your liking.

    On a greased baking sheet, place your puff pastry squares out flat with space between each other.

    Set aside.

    In small bowl, mix cheese, pizza sauce, garlic powder, and shredded cooked chicken.

    Spoon about a tablespoon of the mixture into the center of each puff pastry square.

    Fold up four corners of the pastry square and pinch closed.

    Brush tops of pastries with egg wash for a golden brown product.

    Give a couple shakes of the dried basil, dried oregano, and garlic powder on top of each pastry.

    Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and fluffy.

    When finished baking, garnish with fresh shredded pecorino cheese.
