  • 2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken, boiled
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 c. broth
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. peas
  • 1 can carrots

    Stew chicken and remove skin and bones.

    Place chicken in baking dish.

    In medium saucepan, put broth and soup.

    Heat until thin.

    In a bowl, mix flour, butter and buttermilk.

    Pour broth and soup mixture over chicken.

    Spoon batter over chicken and bake at 325° for 25 to 30 minutes.

    Peas and carrots (optional).
