Chicken Pot Pie

  • 3 c. diced, cooked chicken
  • 1 1/2 c. diced, cooked potatoes
  • 1 c. sliced, cooked carrots
  • 1/2 c. cooked peas
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 5 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 1/2 c. chicken stock or bouillon
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Melt margarine.

    Add flour, salt and pepper to chicken stock and cook until it thickens.

    Mix all ingredients together and put in a casserole dish.

    Top with pastry or pie shell.

    You may put it on the bottom of casserole, also, if you wish.

    Bake at 425° for 30 minutes.
