- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. molasses
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Break eggs into mixing bowl.

2Add margarine, molasses, sugar, nutmeg and baking soda.

3Cream thoroughly.

4Work in flour. Transfer dough to a well floured board and knead until it is pliable.

5Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter.

6Bake at 400° until light brown.

7Yields 3 dozen tea cakes.
