- 3 c. cooked, cubed chicken
- 1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
- 1/2 c. flour
- salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 4 c. chicken broth
- 6 beaten eggs
Directions

1Prepare dressing.

2Melt the butter.

3Add flour and seasonings; gradually add the broth.

4Cook until thick, stirring.

5Stir small amount into eggs and mix, forming custard.

6Butter a 9 x 13-inch pan; fill with layers of dressing, then chicken.

7Cover with custard.

8Bake at 325° for 45 minutes.
